The agreement between you and the company behind palt.io. Plain words on purpose.
Who we are
palt.io is operated by SCRIVT LIMITED (company number 16033576), registered at 33 Downfield Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, EN8 8SP, United Kingdom. “palt.io”, “we” and “the service” mean that company and this product; “you” means the account holder.
The service
palt.io turns OpenAPI and Swagger specs into hosted documentation, serves it on a palt.io subdomain or your own domain, and can expose your API to AI assistants through the MCP bridge. You must be at least 16 to hold an account, the account is yours alone, and the specs, credentials and domains you connect must be yours to connect.
Your content
Specs, guide pages, branding, images and everything else you put into a project remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and serve that content on the surfaces you turn on (your docs site, your custom domain, the MCP endpoint and the Try it playground) and no wider. Text an AI action drafts from your content is yours to edit, publish or discard.
Your API and the bridges
When you turn on Try it or the MCP bridge, palt.io sends requests to your API on behalf of your readers or their AI assistants, using the access rules and credentials you configure. Your API, what it allows and what it returns stay your responsibility. We may rate-limit or pause a bridge that harms the service, your readers or a third party.

Plans and billing
Paid plans are sold by our merchant of record, Polar, which charges your payment method, issues invoices and handles VAT and sales tax; your purchase is also subject to Polar’s terms. Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and is non-refundable except as required by law. Each plan includes monthly allowances, such as AI generations and MCP tool calls; when one is used up, that feature pauses until the next calendar month or until you upgrade. Cancelling keeps Pro active to the end of the paid period; a lapsed plan falls back to Free without deleting anything.
Leaving
Delete your account any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and removes the projects you own, with their specs, pages and analytics; backups age out within 7 days. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where the law allows.
The sober parts
The service is provided as-is; we do not warrant uninterrupted operation. To the extent the law allows, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes get thirty days’ notice by email or in the product. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: hello@palt.io.
